Will my bra be covered by insurance?

That depends on your insurance policy, and your health needs.  If you have had surgery or have a need for an orthopedic bra, ask your doctor to give you a prescription for your need.  You will need to check with your insurance.  This pertains to certain medical plans and programs, as we are not responsible for developing individual insurance company’s policies and cannot guarantee full cooperation.

What do I need to ensure that I am covered and will be compensated?

If health/orthopedic/post-surgery bras are covered with your plan, you must have the following three things in order:

• A prescription from your Doctor for a health/orthopedic/post-surgery bra

• Proper medical insurance that gives coverage to non-essential items like orthotic bras or bras for use with general or plastic surgery

• The medical device establishment license number

Get a prescription from your doctor

STEP TWO

Get the medical device establishment license number on the receipt for your TAB bra 

STEP THREE

Present the receipt and the medical device establishment license number on your insurance claim form
